According to different structural forms and types of lifting mechanisms, metallurgical/casting cranes can be divided into the following three types:

1. The LDY type metallurgical single beam crane uses the YH type metallurgical electric hoist as the lifting mechanism, with a lifting capacity of 2-10t and a working system of A6.

2. LHY type metallurgical electric hoist bridge crane adopts a double beam single trolley structure, with YH type metallurgical electric hoist as the lifting mechanism, with a lifting capacity of 5-10 tons and a working system of A6.

3. The QDY type cast bridge crane adopts a double beam single trolley structure, with a winch as the lifting mechanism. The lifting capacity is 5-70t, and the working system can reach A7. It mainly consists of a bridge frame, trolley, hook beam, large vehicle operation, and electrical parts. The main hook retrieval device is a fixed spacing hook beam used to lift steel ladles, and the auxiliary hook is used to cooperate with the main hook to dump steel, slag, and other auxiliary lifting operations.
